Benefits KCTCS transfer students receive:
- All KCTCS transfer students receive a FREE APPLICATION to EKU.
- All degree-seeking students at EKU receive FREE TEXTBOOKS AND COURSE MATERIALS through the EKU Booksmart program.
- On-campus transfer students with Kentucky residency are eligible to receive up to $4000 annually in TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS regardless of the term they decide to transfer. The $1500 annual Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society scholarship can be stacked with the transfer scholarship.
- Our COLONEL CONNECTION joint admission program allows for qualifying KCTCS students to concurrently enroll in up to 12 hours of EKU credit for the KCTCS tuition price. It’s a great way to keep on track with your EKU degree requirements while finishing your associate's degree.
- REVERSE TRANSFER is available to students who transfer before earning their associate's degree. Contact OATS@eku.edu for more information.
Students can receive in-person or online TRANSFER ADVISING that guides their remaining KCTCS courses and the best time to transition to EKU. We have TRANSFER PATHWAYS for many popular majors. Students can also view an inventory of the 4,500+ KCTCS courses with established EKU equivalencies in the TRANSFER EQUIVALENCY GUIDE.
