Combat Challenge Comes to Louisville

Firefighters from across the country will demonstrate their strength and skills during the Firefighter Combat Challenge this weekend. The event will begin at 5 p.m., Friday, August 21 in the city parking lot at the corner of 2nd and Liberty Streets. The event continues at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 at the same location.

KCTCS Board of Regents Approves 2015-2016 Budget and Employee Raises

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Board of Regents approved a 2015-16 budget of $888,114,300 during its quarterly meeting today at Hopkinsville Community College. The budget includes a one percent or $1,000 salary increase, whichever is greater, for full-time faculty and staff.
