Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and subject to the Kentucky Model Procurement Code, KRS 45A. KCTCS Purchasing is vested with the responsibility for procurement of all goods and services in accordance with the above referenced procurement law, and for making the final determination of the source of supply for KCTCS Colleges.
Vendors may request to be placed on our Bid Source List by completing and returning the Bidder’s Application Form. Completed forms may be mailed, faxed (859-256-3124) or e-mailed to KCTCS Purchasing. In the event that bids are solicited for the commodities selected, your firm may be mailed a copy of the Invitation to Bid. Being placed on our source list does not assure that you will automatically be mailed copies of our solicitations. Therefore, we suggest you check our Opportunities to Bid periodically for the advertisement of our solicitations.
This site is updated with downloadable notices of our Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, Facilities Management Request for Proposals, Public Auctions, Solicitation Results and all Addenda. Additionally, you should periodically review the list for any addendum's that may be issued as failure to include any addenda with the bid document may result in the unacceptability of the bid.
KCTCS General Terms and Conditions are applicable to all bids and contracts issued by Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Purchasing. We encourage your firm to read these conditions and retain a copy for reference as they are an integral part of all contracts awarded by KCTCS Purchasing.
