Contiguous Counties -- The
Kentucky Community and Technical College System defines contiguous
counties for purposes of assessment of tuition to mean the neighboring
counties of the states whose border is adjacent to Kentucky (Indiana,
Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia).
To receive a contiguous counties tuition assessment, a student must
have residence within a contiguous county of a contiguous state
to Kentucky. View the list

Reciprocity -- The Kentucky Community and Technical
College System (KCTCS) defines reciprocity for purposes of assessing
tuition at the in-state rate on the basis of having a formal written
agreement with another postsecondary institution as approved by
the Kentucky Council Of Postsecondary Education. Reciprocity agreements
enable visiting students from the agreeing institutions to take
courses at in-state rates. View
