Current KCTCS training opportunities include:

In Person / Hands on
The in person / hands on training sessions are usually organized by each college. This training can be anywhere from 1 to 3 hours or 1 to 3 full days of training, depending on the level and topics being taught. The instructor is either Paige Brooks-Jeffiers from the system office or one of the campus eMentors. You can view the published training schedule here or check with your eMentor as they don't publish all trainings with me.

Online / Asynchronous
In the future, we will have 3-5 minute tutorials designed to help you learn the CMS quickly and efficiently. In the meantime, please use these tutorials create by George Washington University: View the tutorials.

Webinars / Watch, listen and ask questions -
Webinars are online seminars. You watch from your computer monitor and use your phone for audio. This does mean you have to have simultaneous access to the internet and a phone line to participate. They usually run about 1 to 2 hours and cover a particular topic in a CMS. These will be included on the training schedule. An notification will also be send via email for these webinars. You may suggest a topic for a webinar by emailing Paige Brooks-Jeffiers.
