About KCTCS: Board of Regents - Members
Paul C. Callan lives in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He has 16 years experience teaching Electrical Technology and is currently an associate professor at Bluegrass Community and Technical College - Lawrenceburg Campus. Mr. Callan served on the formation committee for the first faculty council at the former Central Kentucky Technical College (now Bluegrass Community and Technical College). He has represented faculty as a KCTCS senator and served as vice chair of the former Central Kentucky Technical College Faculty Council. Mr. Callan is the faculty representative for Bluegrass Community and Technical College's Manufacturing Industrial Technology programs and serves as the state co-chair for the Electrical Technology Curriculum Committee. Mr. Callan earned a Diploma in Industrial Electricity from Central Vo-Tech (predecessor to Central Kentucky Technical College). He has an Associate in Science in Industrial Electronics; a Bachelor's in Science in Vocational, Industrial, and Technical Education; and a Master's in Science in Vocational Administration, all from Eastern Kentucky University. In August 2006, Mr. Callan was elected to a second term on the KCTCS Board of Regents to serve as the Occupational/Technical College Faculty Regent. Mr. Callan's term as faculty regent ends in October 2009.
