KCTCS is governed by a 14-member Board of Regents. The governor appoints eight members; six are elected by faculty, staff and students in the technical and community colleges. The Board has appointed Dr. Michael B. McCall as KCTCS’ founding president. Dr. Keith W. Bird serves as chancellor. KCTCS is located in Versailles, Kentucky.
