Madisonville Community College is a state-assisted institution, not one supported totally through state appropriations; in fact, only 50 percent of MCC's consolidated budget is derived from state funds. While state dollars provide funding for basic mandated programs and services, the types of enhancements and quality initiatives that make our college truly unique come from dependable, recurring private sources.
