KCTCS names industry executives to lead statewide fundraising campaign
The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) has named executives from Kentucky Power and Toyota Motor Manufacturing to lead their statewide fundraising campaign.
Timothy C. Mosher, president of Kentucky Power in Frankfort, and Thomas O. Zawacki, general manager of administration for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, will serve as co-chairs of the Fulfilling the Promise major gifts campaign for KCTCS.
The major gifts campaign is designed to expand access to postsecondary education and workforce training by funding strategically targeted initiatives that address the community and economic development needs of Kentucky.
Mosher is a charter member and the founding chair of the board of directors for the KCTCS Foundation, Inc., which was created in 1999 to serve as the official fundraising arm of KCTCS.
From 2002-2004, Zawacki served as chair of the board of directors for the KCTCS Foundation Inc. He recently was appointed by Governor Ernie Fletcher to serve on the KCTCS Board of Regents.
"These two leaders have helped to establish the KCTCS Foundation as a viable and worthy recipient of charitable giving," said Michael B. McCall, president of KCTCS. "We are extremely fortunate to have professionals of their expertise and experience lead our major gifts fundraising campaign."
