Julia B. and Peyton "Butch" Mitchell begin a scholarship at Hazard Community & Technical College as part of the college's Fulfilling the Promise" campaign.



HCTC President/CEO Dr. Jay K. Box (on left) thank Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell for their support of the college and for making education more accessible to more students. Mrs. Mitchell is the Vice President for Resource and Community Development at the college and has been heading up the fund raising campaign. In addition to the Mitchells, Mrs. Julia Barret, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh T. Mitchell, and others have contributed to the scholarship fund as part of the campaign.
