General Campaign Chair

Mr. Lowell M. Guthrie, President and CEO of Trace Die Cast, Inc., has accepted the leadership role as General Campaign Chair of the Bowling Green Technical College Fulfilling the Promise Campaign.

Mr. Guthrie is past chairman of the Bowling Green/Warren County Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors for the KATI Campus of BGTC. He has recently been appointed by President George Bush to the Presidential 21st Century Workforce Cabinet.

The announcement of the new Chair was made at the celebration luncheon for the faculty and staff of the Bowling Green Technical College, recognizing their 96 percent participation in the campaign.

"This is an opportunity that we have as individuals, businesses and as a community to actually make this college a showpiece. It is a showpiece, but let's make it better. Lets give it our financial support. By doing that we will have better workers, we will have a better community and everyone gets a benefit from that," states Mr. Guthrie.

We are fortunate to have Mr. Guthrie as Chair of the first major gifts campaign for the College.
