Over the past 65 years, Bowling Green Technical College has established a rich tradition as a leading educational institution in South-Central Kentucky.

Mission

To provide education and training to foster regional economic growth and prosperity by serving as the primary provider of:

  • Certificate, diploma, and two-year degree programs
  • Workforce training to meet the needs of existing and new businesses and industries
  • Remedial and continuing education
  • Short-term, customized training for business and industry

    Bowling Green Technical College

  • Is comprised of four campus locations in Bowling Green and Glasgow.
  • Employs approximately 120 full time faculty, staff, and administrative personnel. All faculty are credentialed at or above the Associate Degree level.
  • Offers programs that culminate in associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in over 30 programs in the areas of Allied Health, Applied Technology, Business, and Engineering and Information Technology.
  • Offers a full service Adult Education program providing GED preparation, Family Literacy, and English as a Second Language training.
  • Offers business and industry training at campus locations as well as on-site training.
  • Has an enrollment of over 2,400 students, up 125% since 1999.
  • Offers a full array of Student Financial Aid which exceeded three million dollars in 2004.
  • Bowling Green Technical College is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
  • Bowling Green Technical College is part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System which comprises 65 campuses throughout the state with a statewide mission of providing quality, affordable postsecondary education and workforce training.
