Our College can look back at its beginnings in 1938 and see that we have made a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of our citizens through community-based education. The historic success of Ashland and the surrounding communities is due in part to the wisdom of our community sixty-five years ago to establish a local college to provide higher education for its citizens. ACTC is higher education. We provide opportunities for our citizens and our businesses and industries to obtain quality higher education and training from world-class educators. We have educators that care, educators that know their students, and educators that are our good neighbors. But, we need your help. State funding has decreased significantly over the past few years and is simply not adequate for us to take our students and our community to the next level of improving the quality of education and the quality of life. We only have one capital initiative: the Child Development Center. What better way to invest in the future than a facility to serve children and help parents prepare for a career to support them?

The remaining initiatives are designed to help those who need help, reward excellent teachers, and help light the fire of learning for young learners involved in science projects. We need your support! Our community, our region needs our college to succeed. We need your support now to ensure our community's future for tomorrow.
