In 2005, Murray-Calloway County Hospital pledged $100,917 to West Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Fulfilling the Promise Campaign.  This gift enabled the College to continue its licensed practical nursing program in Calloway County.  The new facility provides students the opportunity to become a LPN while minimizing travel distances.                                              The College’s Murray-based program enrolls more than 35 LPN students each year and an additional 20 students receive nurse assistant training.  Murray-Calloway County is a 366-bed, public (not-for-profit) institution that serves residents of far western Kentucky and northwest Tennessee.
