As part of the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign, the Club has made significant contributions to establish the Harlan Rotary Club Scholarship Fund, which is providing valuable assistance for needy and deserving students. Recently, the Club partnered with the College to support the ‘Goin’ Back to Harlan’ Bluegrass Festival. The organization is actively involved in supporting a number of worthy organizations, and SKCTC is honored to be a recipient of its generosity.

For more than 30 years, the Tri-City Chamber of Commerce has been one of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College’s strongest advocates, providing both leadership and financial resources for college programs and activities. In addition to making a gift to the Partners in Progress Campaign in the 1990s, the Chamber recently made a pledge to the current Fulfilling the Promise Campaign. The gift will provide much-needed scholarship assistance for graduates of Cumberland High School and Harlan County Central High School. The Chamber is a valuable partner in the College’s ongoing mission to provide quality higher education in southeast Kentucky.
