Old National has a 172-year history of solid performance, a result of the company’s unfailing commitment to meeting the diverse needs of its clients, associates, and shareholders. In 1999, Old National opened its first branch in Owensboro and quickly became one of the community’s largest and strongest financial institutions. When Owensboro Community and Technical College launched its major gifts campaign, Old National made one of the first corporate contributions. The College proudly honors the commitment and support of Old National as its corporate Benefactor of the Year.

The family of Ray and Alice Addington has a long history of leadership in agriculture, industry and education. The family, who settled in this region in the late 1700s, places a high value on lifelong learning and education. In 2001, the Addington Family Scholarship Endowment was created to offer deserving students the opportunity to achieve their educational dreams. The College honors the Addington family for their many gifts to education and Dr. Jacqueline Addington for her presidential leadership and innovation at the College for the past nine years
