Leo and Sandy Miller have been friends of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College for many years. Mrs. Miller currently serves as the Harlan County chair for the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign and previously served as an advisory board member of the Southeast Education Foundation, Inc. Last fall, Mr. and Mrs. Miller established the Leo and Sandy Miller Scholarship Endowment Fund to assist deserving Harlan County students attending the College. Since the beginning of the Campaign, the Miller family has sponsored several campaign awareness events in the College's region. The Millers believe that education is the key to the future and to the community's success in economic development.

Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries, Inc. (SEKRI) is a nonprofit organization that provides qualified personnel, facilities and related services for persons with disabilities, enabling them to obtain and to be successful in maintaining competitive employment. With a workforce of more than 1,000, the organization is one of the leading manufacturers of protective outerwear for the military in the United States. In spring 2005, the organization's Board of Directors voted to give $10,000 to the College annually. The gift is to be used each year to fund four $2,500 scholarships to full-time students from counties served by SEKRI. The College is proud to recognize this important organization.

For over a decade, Robert W. Vaughn and Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers have provided extensive financial and leadership support to Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. Mr. Vaughn currently serves as the Bell County chair for the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign and is also a member of the College's Board of Directors. Under Mr. Vaughn's leadership, Vaughn & Melton Consulting Engineers has been involved in a number of fund-raising events for scholarships, equipment and technology. As a former member of the Kentucky Council on Higher Education, Mr. Vaughn was instrumental in bringing a higher education institution to Bell County and continues to be very supportive of the College.
