As the world's largest financial company, Citigroup relies on Gateway Community and Technical College to train hundreds of its associates. The partnership involves a "campus within a campus" where the College offers specific skill training for potential employees, a mentoring leadership program for managers and college classes. Citigroup has donated more than $100,000 to the College in addition to providing classrooms, office space and supplies. Local Citigroup President Gregg Morton serves as a member of the Gateway Foundation Board and Communications Vice President Johnna Fasold serves on the KCTCS Board of Regents. The partnership is an example of a company that utilizes the College's services to grow its business and then generously gives back to the College and the community.
