Maytag Services is a longtime supporter of the major appliance technology program at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. In addition to annual contributions of new appliances, this subsidiary of Maytag Corporation provides a variety of special tools, service manuals and other state-of-the-art training aids, enhancing students' learning opportunities. Tom Kros, Maytag Services senior training development manager, says the company's investment in technical education programs helps ensure a well-qualified workforce for the appliance industry. An expansion of the partnership with Maytag has established the College as a Maytag Authorized Training Center for the company's field technicians.
