To accept the award for the Scotts and their estate is their attorney, Wendell S. Roberts
Lincoln and Katherine Scott lived a quiet life in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. Scott was a retired maintenance worker at Ashland Oil and Mrs. Scott a domestic worker for prominent Ashland families. After a lifetime of hard work, frugal living and following their death the Lincoln and Katherine Morgan Scholarship Fund was established at the Community and Technical College Foundation of Ashland, Inc. to provide scholarships for students in Boyd and Lewis counties in Kentucky. This scholarship reflects causes the Scotts believed were important in life: education, church and helping others. Their gift will help students improve their lives for years to come.Download large image |
