Ms. Ruby H. Kelley has advanced education in south central Kentucky since her arrival at Somerset Community College in 1967. As a former faculty member of both the community and technical colleges and as the wife of the late Dr. Roscoe Kelley, who served as SCC Director and President from 1966 to 1984, she has been an advocate and generous supporter of higher education. Ruby�s determination and enthusiastic leadership as Campaign Co-Chair of the Partners in Progress Campaign was instrumental in its exceptional success. Ruby has supported many community and technical college initiatives and continues to remain a strong advocate and friend of the consolidated College.
