Mark is an alumnus of Henderson Community College and is currently serving his second term on The College Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.  Mark uses his professional training, talent and enthusiasm for the College to generate interest and support from the community. Recently, he assumed an active role in assisting the College as it develops its planned giving program. Both Mark and Cindy were active members in HCC�s Partners in Progress campaign and have supported the College with their resources, talents, and time.

Mr. Preston was one of the founding fathers of Henderson Community College.  He served as a member of the board when the College Foundation, Inc. was established in 1957.  Mr. and Mrs. Preston and the Preston Family Foundation have been active supporters of the College throughout the years, including a leadership role in the very successful Partners in Progress Campaign. Mr. Preston was very generous with his time, resources and influence as a Partners in Progress Campaign volunteer and honorary Campaign Chair.  The Preston Family Foundation has been very generous in its support of HCC�s scholarship program and its annual Preston Lecture Series.
