Methodist Hospital, Henderson
Being Honored by Henderson Community College
Accepting the award on behalf of the hospital is Executive Director, Mr. Bruce Begley
The Methodist Hospital has supported Henderson Community College for many years. They have partnered with the College to promote a quality nursing program for more than thirty years and have served as a clinical site for nursing and clinical laboratory technician students. HCC was one of the first programs in Kentucky to have state-of-the-art interactive software for our nursing students through the support of Methodist Hospital. They also provided funding for part-time faculty for the program as well as for other equipment. In addition, they provide funding for their employees to attend Henderson Community College and annual scholarships for other nursing students who are selected by the College. Most recently, they have provided the funding for one of only two Endowed Professorships in KCTCS through their gift to the Partners in Progress Campaign.
