Versailles, Ky. – The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is part of a statewide group sponsoring a Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) survey called Bridging the Talent Gap. The survey will help identify skill shortages in the state. The data gleaned from this survey will assist KCTCS and other education providers to better understand workforce and education needs.
Versailles, Ky. – Dr. Larry Ferguson has been named vice president of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). He will oversee advancement, grants and contracts and alumni affairs. He also will serve as the executive director of the KCTCS Foundation.

Higher education institutions such as Harvard University, University of Oregon, University of Virginia and Virginia Tech have all signed the National Intercollegiate Mutual Aid Agreement (NIMAA). Now, the Kentucky Community and Technical College System has joined this impressive group. As of last summer, 26 institutions of higher ed had signed on to help each other during a crisis.

OPDI’s Innovative Educator Academy (IEA): Enabling Innovation in the Community College was selected as a finalist in the Planning, Governance and Finance category.
Versailles, Ky. – Seán Fay is the new system director of Operations and Emergency Services for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). He comes to KCTCS from the University of Miami, where he served as Emergency Management coordinator for Training and Exercises.
