Katherine Strunk and her late husband, Morris, were instrumental in the establishment of the McCreary Center of Somerset Community College and have continuously supported the Center and its students.  Katherine said, “Before his death, Morris and I discussed how we could best help the young people of our county and decided that an endowed scholarship would be a gift that would help students in perpetuity. We realize the tremendous benefit the McCreary Center of Somerset Community College provides to our county, and we want to enable more students to take advantage of it.”  Their generous $100,000 gift established the Morris E. and Katherine M. Strunk Scholarship Endowment.
