President's Gala and Benefactors Awards Dinner

Benefactors of the Year, 2006
Big Sandy Community and Technical College

CAM Holdings LLC, Pikeville
Honored by Big Sandy Community and Technical College

Under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Terry N. Coleman, CAM Holdings LLC has become one of the largest coal producers in the United States.  CAM has consistently supported education and community projects that benefit area residents.  Several professionals in the company are alumni of Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC).  To recognize these individuals, the company made a generous contribution to the John D. and Connie W. Sammons Endowed Scholarship Fund.  The scholarship was created to assist students interested in careers in math and engineering.  BSCTC is proud to honor CAM Holdings LLC and Mr. Coleman for their generosity and support.

Highlands Regional Medical Center (HRMC) has a history rich in community involvement and has been a valued partner of Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) for more than 30 years.  In 2005, however, they took their support to a new level by pledging $100,000 to the Big Sandy College Educational Foundation to create an endowed scholarship fund for students pursing careers in health care.  The faculty, staff and students at BSCTC are deeply grateful to CEO and President Harold C. Warman, Jr. and the Board of Directors at HRMC for their support and applaud their commitment to improve the quality of life for citizens of the region.
