The KCTCS seal is a permanent symbol that serves as the system’s identification.
The columns in the seal represent KCTCS’s two branches: community colleges and technical schools. A gear represents the technical component, and a book represents the academic component.
The seal is reserved for use on official and ceremonial KCTCS documents, such as diplomas. It is not required or appropriate for vehicle signage.
Like the KCTCS logo, the seal is built using PMS 541 (blue) and PMS 131 (yellow). The black and white versions of the seal should be used whenever photocopying will be done. For a copy of the KCTCS seal, please e-mail the System Office Department of Marketing and Communications.
Alterations of the seal, such as the one-color versions shown below, are discouraged.
