    Dropping Courses:

Never drop a class without first talking with the instructor. Many times students believe they are doing worse than they really are or are not aware of alternatives to dropping.

If you must drop, however, you must do it officially to avoid an "E" (failing grade) being listed on your grade report at the end of the semester.

Only the Registrar at your Home College can officially process a withdrawal or drop request. First, contact the instructor, and then contact the Registrar at your Home College if you must drop a class.
