Credentials

KCTCS offers:
  • 600 credit program options.
  • Associate's degrees, diplomas, and certificates
The associate's degree includes transfer degrees and technical/professional degrees, many of which can also transfer to four-year programs.

To earn an associate's degree students must successfully complete 60 to 77 credit hours, depending on the program.

The diploma is designed to prepare students for employment in a specific technical field. To earn a diploma, students must successfully complete 36 to 68 credit hours.

The certificate is primarily offered in technical programs and can be earned in as little as one semester, depending on the program.
